The ACHS Annual Staff has done it again.
Each year, schools across the country piece together yearbooks of all shapes and sizes. Among all those yearbooks, only a few standout to the judges at Balfour Publishing.
Balfour Publishing assembles a team each school year to review all the yearbooks published by Balfour. This team rates each book on theme development, layout design, photo content, secondary packages, and cover design. The winners in each category are selected and are featured in Balfour's Yearbook Yearbook.
Alcorn Central is no newcomer to being published in Yearbook Yearbook. The AC Annual staff has won several awards in the past.
This time, Alcorn Central High School received Honorable Mention for the overall book for its outstanding contribution to scholastic journalism for the 2018 yearbook.
According to the Yearbook Yearbook Editor, Julia Copeland, only 11% of yearbook staffs are honored with this type of distinction.
