The Purple Pride Marching Band of Alcorn Central appeared in the Crossroads Marching Classic this past Saturday at Corinth High School.
The Purple Pride performed their set "The Greatest Show."
ACHS was among many area bands in competition. However, AC was able to leave quite the impression on all those who had the joy to listen.
Drum Major, Mia Mallard, received superior ratings and was named overall best drum major.
The Purple Pride Percussion Section achieved superior ratings for their great performance.
The Auxiliary section, along with the whole ACHS Band, was awarded excellent ratings from the judges where Auxiliary ranked 2nd in the division and the band ranked 3rd in the division.
Congratulations Purple Pride for another job well done! Come out and support the Purple Pride Band during halftime of this week's home football game on Thursday.
