Mrs. Parsons and her Polymer Science Students Win the ACTC Community Service Trophy

During the month of October, classes at ACTC compete to see who can collect the most cans and money to donate to the AMEN Food Pantry.  The pantry located on Lindon Street in Corinth, serves families in Alcorn County who are in need of food.  The pantry runs off of donations from churches, schools and individuals in the community.  This year ACTC students and faculty donated 500 food items along with a cash donation of 250 dollars.  Mrs. Parsons and the students in her Polymer Science class won the Community Service Trophy for the most class donations, with Teacher Academy coming in a close second and Health Science taking the third place position.
