Alcorn Career & Technology Center

Zola Burgess with Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF) came to ACTC Health Sciences Classes to speak with students about the importance of being an organ donor.  Students learned that MSTF serves three states by connecting patients in need of organ or tissue transplants with potential donors.  Ms. Burgess spoke about how the process works on both the patient and donor sides, as well as how people can go about becoming registered donors.
