KHS Bowling Takes Back to Back State Wins

A big congratulations to both the Kossuth Aggie and Lady Aggie bowling teams for winning another State Championship on Friday, February, 14. Both of the Aggie teams competed at Metro24 Lanes in Jackson, MS, where they captured their third sweep of the MHSAA State Championship title. The Aggie bowlers brought back home their title of Class I State Champions for the second year consecutively, and also the third time in the past four years in general. "Its been another great season of Aggie Bowling with a solid senior boys class as well as youthful but talented girls class," stated by KHS bowling Coach Michael Lee. The Aggies and Lady Aggies also won the following titles in the following year: the BMC Holiday Tournament and the Class I North Regional Tournament Regional title. 

The Aggies were led by Seamus Brooks and Jose Hernandez, all-state team members, along with Hank Gardner, Holden Cummings, Danny Jones, and Nick Hopper. The Aggies finished their season 11-1. 

The Lady Aggies also had a wonderful season finishing 12-0 and as the Class I Champs.The Lady Aggies were led by three All-State performances from Sally Kate Gardner, Maddie Mask, and Lynley Woodruff along with Lauren Trantham, and Emma Renfow.

 Also, congrats to Sally Kate Gardner for earning 1st Place on the Class I All-State Team! Only an 8th grader at Kossuth Middle School, Sally had the highest individual score in the state, averaging 180.
