A Message from Our KHS Administration

A message from our KHS administration:

We know many of you have questions regarding our plans for providing for our students during these unfortunate circumstances.  We are currently working on some answers to these questions.
If you haven’t heard, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Governor Tate Reeves signed an executive order today, requiring all schools remain closed until April 17th.  As a result, our staff is designing a plan for our students to continue their education while away from school.
Mr. Johnson and Mr. Mathis will be meeting with teachers on Monday to begin putting this plan into action.  For this plan to work efficiently for all our students, we need to know which of our students do not have access to the internet or any devices to access the internet such as a tablet or computer.
If this applies to you, please contact Kossuth High School at 662-286-3623 or 662-286-3653 tomorrow March 20 between 8 and 3.  We need to know the student’s name and whether he or she lacks internet access and/or a device.  This information will be used to determine the best way to serve each student during this time.
Teachers should be in contact with their students by Wednesday of next week.

Thank you for your patience regarding this inconvenience.
