Our school has a great treasure in Counselor, Mrs. Stephanie Eaton.
She reminds us of a tale about a so-called “rag-man”. The story goes that many years ago in an inner city, there was an old man who would go around and collect people’s old rags and give them new ones instead. Every time he found a person that was hurting or suffering, he would make this exchange with them. Little did they know that not only was he exchanging the rags, but he was also taking their hurts and ailments as well.
Mrs. Eaton does that for our school on a daily basis as she sweetly listens to students’ heartbreaks and challenges and lovingly encourages them to see things in a different way that will make things better. She really cares about the students' welfare both on a social and emotional level. She also works on everyone's schedule so that they will get the best education and have the most opportunities to participate in the things they enjoy.
We are so thankful to have Mrs. Stephanie Eaton in our ACMS Golden Bear family and we hope she knows how much we value and appreciate all she does for our school!
