Congratulations to our 2023 MHSAA 1A North Half Champs.
Highlights:
Jathan Hatch- three first half interceptions, including a pick six, and added a fumble recovery touchdown
First down pass from Drew Rowsey to Zialis Blackmon and a 30-yard Tre Gunn run
Jayce Taylor powered the score in from seven yards out to go up 13-0 with 2:12 left in the first.
Hatch’s second pick set up Biggersville’s next score as Gunn’s 23-yard run put them in the red zone
Taylor added his second score of the night, this one for two yards.
65-yard pass from Rowsey to extend Biggersville’s lead on the opening drive of the third quarter to 35-7.
Rowsey connected with Brooks Seago on a 30-yard strike over the middle to make it 41-7.
Gunn, Hatch and Taylor combined for nearly 200 yards rushing on the night.
Rowsey finished his night 5 of 6 passing for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the second half.
