Joanna Wilbanks is a Kossuth Native who joined the AAEC family this year as our Special Education Teacher after working for 6 years in special education at Burnsville. Prior to being a teacher, Ms. Joanna served for 5 years as a social worker. She brings with her a passion for teaching and a desire to see all students learn and be successful. We have gotten to see this passion play out in the classroom these past couple months as Ms. Joanna has rolled up her sleeves and worked tirelessly with our special and general education students.
