What a WONDERFUL week we had at BES last week!!!

Our teachers work amazingly hard for our kiddos! I am so blessed to get to watch them working and our kids LEARNING EVERY DAY!
We have 5 more FANTASTIC days of school before Thanksgiving break! Please have your kiddos to school before 7:45 AM. & continue to encourage your kiddos to work hard and do their best!

Hello BES FAMILY!
Make up pictures will be TOMORROW!!! If your child was absent on picture day or if your child has enrolled with us since Oct 6, they need to come to school ready to have their picture taken!
To be certain we don’t miss anyone, please write and send a note to school tomorrow reminding us that we need your child’s smile on film!
This Friday we will be celebrating ALL OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS and 50 FABULOUS DAYS of school at BES! All October birthday kiddos can wear hats on Friday and ALL students are invited to dress in fun 50s attire to help us celebrate!
BHS is hosting an alumni night THIS FRIDAY! $25 gets all alumni a school tour, dinner, & admission to our home football game Friday night! Please call the BHS office for more details!

Kossuth lost one of their own yesterday. Coach Daniel Threadgill was an important part of the Kossuth and Alcorn School District family. In support of his family we would like to invite our students & teachers to wear blue tomorrow to show our support.

Every day this week, all BES students will listen to a different Pete the Cat book. Our hallways have some fun decorations to make our days feel festive. Students are also invited to dress in a particular way to either correlate to the book or just to make this week a little more fun!

Our BES phones are not working properly. We will send everyone home the same as we do every Monday unless you are able to get your call through today.

We had a WONDERFUL school-wide birthday celebration on Friday! All our July & September birthday kiddos loved wearing their hats all day & walking in our birthday parade! & the cupcakes were a hit with everyone!
BES will be required to wear masks for one more school day, Monday August 30. However, after that, masks are still strongly encouraged!
A few things to remember;
This THURSDAY, Sept 2, is PICTURE DAY! EVERY student will be photographed so send your kiddos to school ready to SMILE!
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, Sept 6 due to the Labor Day holiday.
Sept 7-10 will be LION WEEK at Biggersville! All BES students will get into our Biggersville junior high football game on Tuesday, volleyball match on Thursday, & high school football game on Friday for FREE with a paying parent!
Students are encouraged to show their Biggersville pride by dressing in school colors all week!
