COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies
3-4% Close Contact Quarantined and Active Case Isolated Population:
- Increase Fogging Buildings/Dressing Rooms to Daily
- Increase Deep Cleaning RR’s to 3x a week
- Document time spent with each class going over (again) Healthy Practice Procedures.
- Masks Strongly Encouraged
5-6% Close Contact Quarantined and Active Case Isolated Population:
- Increase Fogging to Daily
- Deep Cleaning RR’s 3x a week
- Masks will be required for Staff & Students, vaccinated, or unvaccinated for all Indoor Activities & Bus
7-9% Close Contact Quarantined and Active Case Isolated Population:
- All Previous Mitigation Strategies
- No Mass gatherings (Breaks, Pep Rallies, etc.)
- Classrooms and Cafeteria will be used to Social Distance
10% Close Contact Quarantined and Active Case Isolated Population:
- All mitigation strategies mentioned will be in effect.
- Hybrid A/B Schedule considered and possibly implemented.
- Once the mask requirement is in place it will remain for 3 weeks, or until the Quarantine/Isolation percentage is at 1% or less.
- Career Tech Center will follow the strictest mitigation level of any High School in the District.
Purpose of Plan:
1) Safety of Staff and Students.
2) Decrease the number of Positive Cases & Quarantines.
3) To Decrease the number of Virtual students due to Quarantine that teachers will be responsible for.
4) To prevent schools from having to go fully virtual.
5) To relieve staff from having to Quarantine & Contact Trace.
6) To relieve parents from having to take off work or find child care for their Quarantined child.
