Last Thursday, the Alcorn Central Cross Country team traveled to New Albany to participate in the Dawg Trails Classic.
Both teams competed against many other schools in the area.
The Alcorn Central girls team came back home with proof of a successful meet.
The primary 8th & 9th grade team took first place at the meet against 21 presumably older teams. This is a great accomplishment for the Alcorn Central team.
The next Cross Country meet for AC is Tuesday, 9/17 @ Horsecreek Wildlife Refuge in Hardin County, TN.
