El Club de Espanol will meet monthly.
See Mrs. Leanne Williams, Room 16G, for further information.
ACHS Spanish Club is now beginning registrations for the 2015-16 school year. New member sign-up fee is $8 and former members may sign up for $3 per year. Spanish club members will take at least one "social" field trip per year. They will also be invited to participate in the foreign language competition held at the University of Memphis in the Spring. (This is so much fun!) We will also use club funds to provide snacks and prizes at holiday parties or meetings. Registration is due by Friday, September 11.
Our first field trip will be to Tishomingo High School to see the Mexican Folklorico Ballet Company. This professional company will take us on a "tour" through Mexico through authentic dance, costumes, and scenery, as well as live music and audience participation. This trip will be Thursday, October 1 and we will come back for lunch at Mi Toro. Tickets for this trip are $15 and may be paid for when you sign up for the club, or by Friday, September 18.
See Mrs. Williams to sign up.
