Oxford HS hosted the State Band Concert Evaluations for the North Region. All bands in the state receive 3 sets of ratings in the course of a year: marching, concert, and sightreading.
Kossuth earned all superior ratings for marching in the fall and all superior ratings for concert and sightreading at Oxford HS.
As a result, Kossuth was one of only 3 3A bands to earn the Sweepstakes Award for earning all superior ratings from every judge in marching, concert, and sightreading. This marks the 4th time for Kossuth to receive this award.
