Alcorn School District FBLA Leaders Grow Together at State Fall Conference
-John Mask, ACHS
Three Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapters from the Alcorn School District came together this week for an unforgettable leadership experience at the Mississippi FBLA Fall Leadership Conference in Brandon, Mississippi.
Student officer teams from Alcorn Central High School, Alcorn Central Middle School, and Kossuth High School joined hundreds of FBLA members from across the state to engage in workshops focused on leadership, communication, and chapter development. The event provided valuable opportunities for students to network with peers, learn from state officers, and gain insights to help strengthen their local chapters throughout the year.
Beyond the conference sessions, the trip offered time for team bonding and memory-making. The Alcorn School District FBLA members enjoyed dinner together, played cards and board games, and ended the evening watching a movie—sharing laughter and building friendships that will carry over into their leadership roles.
These experiences reflect the Heart of ASD—Learning, Leading, and EXCELLING. Through events like this, Alcorn School District students continue to develop as confident leaders who exemplify teamwork, dedication, and excellence both in and out of the classroom.
