We are thrilled to announce the renaming of the Dianne Cole Band Hall at Kossuth High School.
To know Ms. Cole is to love her. She is genuine, charismatic, authentic, and known for making everyone feel seen and valued. She has a natural musical gift that makes reading music and teaching any instrument come effortlessly.
From 1980 to 2026, the Aggie Band saw nine head directors, but behind every director stood Ms. Cole, remaining the constant—preserving traditions, mentoring generations, and inspiring confidence, discipline, and pride in every student that wore an Aggie uniform.
Aggie Band & Guard Achievements under Mrs. Cole's guidance:
35 years of Superior marching scores, 28 years of Superior concert ratings, and 5 Sweepstakes awards.
Color Guard earned 39 years of Superior scores and multiple 3rd-place state titles.
Indoor Winter Guard won FOUR state championships and earned two silver medals.
Naming the band hall in Ms. Cole’s honor reflects the celebration of an educator who empowers students academically, artistically, and personally, instilling skills and values that last a lifetime.
