Free Breakfast and Lunch Opportunity

Free Breakfast and Lunch Opportunity

Alcorn School District is very excited to announce that beginning September 8, 2020, we will be able to offer free breakfasts and lunches to ALL of our students. So, regardless of your child's current cafeteria plan, free, reduced, or full price, ALL students will eat for free!! This is made possible through funding from USDA and will be available to our students until December 31, 2020. With the exception of Kossuth High School, our cafeterias will be considered closed sites meaning that only enrolled students in PreK through the 12th Grade will be able to participate. However, Kossuth High School is considered an open site giving that location the opportunity to offer free grab and go breakfast and/or lunch to anyone under the age of 18. Please contact your building principal or Peggie Bundy, Director of Child Nutrition, at 662-286-5591 if you have any questions. If you have not already done so, click on the link here and be sure to complete the free/reduced lunch application for the 2020-21 school year so we can be eligible for other opportunities such as this in the future!
