The Kossuth Middle School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is celebrating a major achievement this week as several of its members have officially qualified for the State Leadership Conference. The competition will take place on March 17 in Hattiesburg, where students will compete against top performers from across Mississippi.

KMS FBLA students earned their place at State after showcasing strong skills in categories ranging from business concepts to technology and leadership events. Their performance demonstrates not only academic excellence but also the growing leadership and career-readiness focus within the school.

FBLA advisor and school administrators expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments, noting that the organization provides valuable opportunities for students to develop confidence, teamwork, and real-world business skills.

The KMS Principal shared,“Our students have worked extremely hard, and this achievement reflects their dedication and determination. We’re excited to see them represent our school at the next level.”

The upcoming event in Hattiesburg will bring together middle and high school students from across the state to compete, attend workshops, and participate in leadership activities.

As preparations begin, community members and school supporters are encouraged to congratulate the qualifying students and wish them success as they move forward to State.
