The first week back from Fall Break always brings its challenges — and this week was no different. But overcoming those challenges is how we learn to be our best and prepare for the next one.
It’s been a great week to be a Golden Bear, and we can’t wait to start another one on Monday!
Spend some time with family, get outside for some fresh air, worship well, and come back refreshed and ready for another awesome week of Learning Together, Leading Responsibly, and Building Excellence!

- Home Games Tonight starting at 5:00.
- ACMS WILL PLAY at Biggersville Thursday!
As basketball season begins, we want to share a few reminders to help make our games safe and enjoyable for everyone:
For safety reasons, a parent or responsible adult must attend the game with their student.
Games typically last 45 minutes to an hour and are played in this order: 7th Girls, 7th Boys, 8th Girls, 8th Boys.
Admission: $6.00 for school-aged students and up.
You may enter on either the High School gym side or Middle School side (with the admissions gate on the Middle School side).
Please remember—we’re here to support and cheer for our teams and players. Negativity toward opposing players, coaches, or officials does not reflect who we are at ACMS.
Let’s continue to make ACMS a place where we Learn Together, Lead Responsibly, and Build Excellence—on and off the court.
WE ARE ACMS!

Shout Out & Good Luck, Golden Bears!
Chad Potter, Andrew Strickland, Ayden Robinson
Raylee Black, Harper Moore, Haddy Moore, Jackie Nunley, and Gloria Velazquez!
They’ll be representing ACMS at the State Cross Country Meet TODAY at 1:00pm!
Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and for showing what it means to be a Golden Bear.
Sports are just another way we Learn Together, Lead Responsibly, and Build Excellence at ACMS!
Parents, if you and your middle schooler are interested in trying out for the HIGH SCHOOL Track Team - Important dates, requirements, QR Code signup, and information are included on the image.

ACMS Families! We hope everyone had a great Fall Break! Let’s start the 2nd nine weeks strong Monday - on time, focused, and ready to learn.
Tuesday- XCountry State Championship & Home Basketball
Thursday- Basketball at Biggersville & Report Cards

Students: Work hard, show up on time, and give your best—habits for life!
Parents: Thanks for your support as we finish this week learning together.
Parents, just a reminder and a word of caution:
A responsible adult must attend all sporting events with their middle school student. While our staff and event workers do their best to keep watch over students, we cannot be everywhere or control everyone’s attitudes, behaviors, or actions.
We have a football game tonight against a county rival, and we want it to be a fun, safe, and positive experience for everyone. Your support in supervising your child helps ensure that our games remain family-friendly and enjoyable for all.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe and represent ACMS with pride!

ACMS Character Trait of the Month: Self-Direction
https://youtu.be/noXBp1WWBwE
This month’s focus is on Learning to Be Self-Directed. Developing this skill empowers students to take ownership of their learning, manage their responsibilities, and grow in confidence.
We are excited that our middle school and high school students are working together to create a monthly video highlighting this trait. This collaboration is a wonderful example of how our students are:
✨ Learning Together
✨ Leading Responsibly
✨ Building Excellence
We can’t wait to see their creativity and leadership shine!

Tuesday: Home Volleyball 🏐 | Science Benchmarks & Exams Continue
Wednesday: ELA Benchmarks 📚
Thursday: Math Benchmarks ➗
Friday: Makeups 📝 | 6th & 8th Grade Field Trips 🎒
Let’s encourage our students to stay focused during exams while enjoying the excitement of our athletic events and field trips!
What an incredible Homecoming Week it has been at ACMS! I could not be more proud of our students, staff, and families. The energy, school spirit, and positive attitudes have filled our hallways and classrooms all week long.
What makes me the proudest is the balance I’ve seen—our students have celebrated and had fun while continuing to stay focused on their learning, and our staff has gone above and beyond to make sure the excitement of Homecoming was matched with strong teaching and meaningful learning opportunities. That balance is what makes ACMS so special!
To our parents—thank you for your continued support and encouragement. To our students—thank you for representing our school with pride, respect, and excellence. And to our staff—you are simply the best, and your dedication shines through in every way.
Homecoming Week has been a true example of what it means to Learn Together, Lead Responsibly, and Build Excellence!
— Proud to be your Principal
