SkillsUSA Competitors

On January 28th twenty-four students competed in the District SkillsUSA Competition at Northwest Mississippi Community College.  Students were from Automotive Services, Metal Fabrication, Digital Media, Culinary Arts, Polymer Science, Marketing and Carpentry.  ACTC boasted ten winners in the competition who are now eligible to compete at the state level in Jackson, MS.  Winners included: Hunter Shaw -- 4th Place in Cabinetry, Elijah Hodum -- 4th Place in Individual Welding, Toby Crum/Caleb Felks/Payton Harvelle -- 3rd Place in Group Welding,Lily Shaw -- 2nd Place in Job Skill Open, Chenoa Heckel -- 2nd Place in Prepared Speech, Destiny Ozbirn -- 2nd Place in Job Interview, Jake Pearson -- 1st in Job Interview, and Nate Davis -- 1st Place in Brick Laying.
