As our community faces the impact of the Coronavirus, the Alcorn School District wants to be proactive in our response. Therefore, all of our schools will be closed Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20th for students and teachers. All after school activities are canceled.
ATTENTION:
As of now the remainder of the archery season has been canceled. This will include North Qualifier and State meet.
There will be a Prayer Rally for our very own Coach Daniel Threadgill tomorrow in the KMS gym at 9:30. We hope to see you all there! PLEASE WEAR TEAM BLUE SHIRTS!
The Blood Drive scheduled for March 5 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 7. Please see Mrs. Lowrey to register.
KHS baseball expresses our appreciation to Coach Scarbrough and his coaching staff for supporting Coach Daniel Threadgill at last nights baseball game.
Today at FCA the special speaker was our very own Coach Creighton Nelms. He spoke to us about loving your enemies and gave practical examples of how to do so.
On Tuesday, February 25, ALL JUNIORS will be taking the ACT on our campus. Please be on time, get a good night's rest, and eat a good breakfast. See you then!

We will have a sendoff at 9:20 in front of the KMS gym, for our Aggie Bowlers headed to Jackson to compete in the State Competition! Good Luck Aggies!

BLUE OUT CANCER FOR BLUE - Coach Threadgill
Blue out Cancer for Blue will be this week, Feb. 10-14. Wear your blue all week to support Coach Threadgill! Teachers may pay $5 and wear jeans all this week to help raise money! Donations are welcome!
Alcorn School District will operate on a two-hour delay today.
Due to the threat of inclement weather, Alcorn School District will dismiss staff and students today, February 5, at 1PM. All after school activities, including after school tutoring, are cancelled.

Due to the threat of severe weather, Alcorn School District will dismiss at 2PM today, December 16th. Pre-K will be dismissed at 1:30PM. All after school activities and meetings have been cancelled.
Classes will resume tomorrow, October 30, 2019. If there are roads that buses are unable to travel, those students will be excused. Please travel to school safely.
