Congratulations to last week's Mentor of the Moment, Mrs. Amy Marsh. Students said that Mrs. Marsh is always there for all of her students, and someone you could talk to about anything. She will help you through your ups and downs and is extremely compassionate. She is an amazing drama teacher and director, and we really appreciate all her hard work.

Freshman students created designs in Mrs. Julie's Exploring Careers class for their project in the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication Career Cluster. Students created their designs in Inkscape and used the xTool laser cutter to complete the project. Students learned the different vector paths and files needed to create these designs. This technology was provided by Caterpillar Foundation. Kossuth High School has been equipped with a Fab-in-a-Box station which includes a laser engraver/cutter, a 3D printer, and a vinyl cutter for students to use.

This week's Mentor of the Moment is none other than our Aggie Band Director, Mr. Brandon Harvell! Students who nominated him said that he is always so kind and considerate of everyone's situation. Shoutout to Coach Brian Kelly, last week’s Mentor of the Moment. His players said that he is very encouraging and makes them want to do better in everything they do. Coach Kelly also had the football players sign a football to give to 1st grader Archer Stewart, who lost his father last week. We are so proud to have Coach Kelly’s influence at KHS!
