The Kossuth High School chapter of FBLA is sponsoring a "Mentor of the Moment" each week. The study body nominate the staff member of their choice and why they believe he or she should receive the Mentor of the Moment for that week.
This week's recipient is Mrs. Shiela Duncan. She teaches Spanish I, II, and III. Students who nominated her said that she is always so kind and greets us with a smile. One student said, "She inspires me to be a better person every day. She's the sweetest person and deserves so much. There is never a time in her class when you are ever bored or sad." One coworker said that Mrs. Duncan was a genuine mentor to her through hard times, and always prays for her and offers a hug just when it's needed."
Congratulations Mrs. Duncan!
Mrs. Duncan says she is pleasantly surprised and wasn't expecting it at all. She is grateful to be considered for this special award.

Auditions for "Sleepy Hollow," our next Drama Club production, will be today and tomorrow afternoon from 3:15-4:15 in Mrs. Amy Marsh's classroom. If your child is auditioning, they will need to be picked up by 4:15 in front of the K building. 7-12 grade roles, as well as 6 roles for 5th and 6th grade students! Come join us!

Our first recipient is Mrs. Pam Sargent. She is one of our maintenance staff who takes such good care of all of us. Students who nominated her said that she always greets them with a smile, keeps our campus so neat and clean, and is always so kind. Congratulations Mrs. Pam!

5:30 pm - Senior parent/student meeting.
7:00 pm - Juniors
Tuesday, July 22
5:30 pm - Sophomores
6:45 pm - Freshman parent/student meeting
We will have all information, forms, and MacBook pick up in the library. Seniors and Freshmen will have a short parent/student meeting before. Juniors and sophomores will just go to the library to complete forms and get MacBooks.

Along with the Device Acceptance Form, a Technology Fee of $25 must be paid either during orientation or on the first day of school, AND any outstanding technology fees from last year must be paid prior to receiving the device. This includes any missing chargers and/or USB cables that need to be paid for.
