KHS Message:
We would like to remind students that there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow in observance of Labor Day. Have a wonderful and relaxing day off! See you Tuesday!

This week's 2Words are "KNOCK, KNOCK."
Bro. Cory Holley and Coach Mackey brought a challenge to us yesterday.
Opportunity is knocking...will you view moments as a waste of time OR will you make every minute and every moment matter?? Opportunity is not a LUMP "right place at the right time" thing.
It is E V E R Y DAY.
It is E V E R Y W H E R E.
But in order to hear opportunity knocking, you MUST do the work to build the doors in your life for the knock to happen! Mere access to opportunities does not build success. Build success by taking action with those opportunities.
The first T H I R T Y minutes of the day determine the rest of your day.
Build doors of relationship in your life. Talk to everyone like they are valued, so that more opportunity may knock!
What will you do?

"MOST VALUABLE"
Yesterday, Bro. Cory Holley, youth pastor at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church, helped encourage us through this week's TWO WORDS focus, "Most Valuable."
Who is the most valuable person in your life? Our actions would suggest that YOU are the most valuable person in your life. When we are our own most valuable person, we become consumed with conceit. We don't celebrate others' successes. We must erase selfish ambition from our lives.
When we begin to treat OTHERS as the most valuable person in our lives, we begin to lift others up, and success is achieved. "Don't aspire to be the best ON the team; aspire to be the best FOR the team." What will you choose?

Also, all tickets for tonight's football jamboree have to be purchased online. No cash will be accepted. https://gofan.co/app/school/MS15990
