It’s time to celebrate ASD! We are one of the top 20 districts in the state.
Data will be voted on at the next board meeting.

Kossuth Elementary and Kossuth Middle are super excited to welcome our student teachers for this semester. Top (left to right) is Carnita Johnson, Jermaine Johnson, Gage Smith, Grace Martin, Sarah Spencer, Cora Owens, and Grace Pannell. Bottom (left to right) is Brandi Hampton, Annah-Claire Isbell, Mary Klaire Fuller, and Jamie Henderson. We hope that they all have a blast and enjoy our students as much as we do!

Over the next several weeks, we will be posting staff snapshots just to introduce ourselves and brag a bit on all our KMS staff members. Please share some love for the individuals that work so tirelessly on a daily basis to ensure that all KMS students are receiving a top- notch education. The ladies featured here ensure that our front office runs as smoothly as possible and we are so proud to call them AWESOME AGGIES!

Today in the KMS Innovation Lab, students took a virtual reality field trip. We are super excited to see how the VR cart, as well as the other technologies that we have in our lab, will benefit all KMS students by bringing the learning to life.

KMS Message: Please see the attached flyer regarding the Baseball Camp.

KMS Message: Any students that will be checking out tomorrow will need to do so by 1:00 p.m. The road will be blocked off at approximately 1:15 for the high school parade to begin at 1:30.

Parents, we sent this form home today for any students that may be interested in the baseball camp.

Please see the attached flyer regarding our Homecoming dress for next week. Go Aggies!

Students in the KMS Innovation Lab are busy building robots that can be coded and controlled. The Innovation Lab is taking our students' learning to a whole new level and inspiring them to explore the world of STEAM and all of the possibilities that it entails.

Football games scheduled for tonight have been postponed until Thursday September 8th @5:30

Today, we recognized and celebrated our students that won our "Awesome Aggie Awards" for the month of August. These students are exemplifying how KMS is capturing kids' hearts and growing our students academically, socially, and emotionally. Aggie Pride!

WAY TO GO KMS TEACHERS AND STUDENTS!!!

I want to celebrate all of the hard work that our teachers and students put in last school year. You all are showing everyone what it means to be AWESOME AGGIES!

KMS message:
7th, 8th , and JV football games tomorrow at Corinth. 7th grade will start at 5:30 followed by 8th and JV.

KMS message: Please make sure iPads are charged to tomorrow as well.

KMS MESSAGE: Due to icy conditions on some roadways near Wenesoga, the buses that run those routes are being put on a delay (1 to 2 hours depending on temperature). These students will not be counted tardy or absent.

KMS Message: KMS students that are car riders and have siblings at KES can be dropped off at the KES cafeteria and walk over to the middle school. They MUST exit the vehicle right beside the cafeteria, not near the road. This will eliminate the need to go through both car rider lines. To ensure the safety of our students, we ask that you adhere to this policy. Please contact us should you have any questions.

KMS Message: Make up softball tryouts will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 3:00 p.m. This applies ONLY to those students that did not attend the first round of tryouts.

KMS Message: In order to be issued an iPad, students MUST have both the acceptable use form (found in back of the handbook) and the online iPad agreement form (link below) completed and signed. Parents, please be sure to sign the acceptable use policy before returning it to school. Thanks so much!
