KMS has been awarded a grant from Ashley Furniture and STEM101 totaling around $45,000. During our PD sessions today, the CTE teachers received hands on training from a certified STEM101 trainer from Wisconsin. In the coming months, these teachers will utilize these STEM101 kits to teach all KMS students important Science and CTE skills. Students will build their own functional ukulele, speaker, electric circuits, as well learn measurements and other “real life” skills. We are extremely appreciative of both Ashley Furniture and STEM101 for allowing KMS to be a part of this program!
There will be no rehearsal for the KMS Drama Club tonight. All cast and crew members of An Almost Blue Christmas will need to report to the Corinth Coliseum by 5:00 tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, December 13th). Tickets will be sold at the door. The performances are at 7:00 for both nights (Dec. 13th & 16th).

A bright spot to KMS, is Ms. Christy Hinton. She is a true Hometown hero who has been honored twice this school year with the Hometown hero award from Modern Woodmen. Her students and our staff are blessed to have her. Thank you for your service.

Mr. Wilbanks has his 6th grade classes completing a unit on solar systems. As part of this unit, they're printing 3D models of celestial bodies and space related crafts in The Innovation Lab. At KMS, we're taking learning to a whole new level!
