ASD Families- Please save a copy of the 25-26 school year calendar! We are already looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, and we want your child to experience every moment of it! Classes begin on July 30!

The ASD is hosting a FREE SUMMER MEALS program beginning Monday! All children aged 18 and under and everyone aged 21 and under with a disability can receive a free breakfast & lunch daily Monday-Thursday in June by visiting the elementary cafeteria at Alcorn Central, Biggersville, or Kossuth! Children do NOT have to be enrolled in the ASD to receive the free meals. Please join us! #WeAreASD

Dear KMS Parents and Guardians, Report cards for KMS students will be available for pickup in the school office beginning Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 30 during regular office hours (7:00 - 3:30). They will be available after this date, however, with vacations and different activities by staff, please call to ensure someone will be in the office. Please note: Report cards will not be mailed due to the rising cost of postage and the high number of undeliverable returns. Last year alone, over half were returned by the post office. To ensure you receive your child’s report card in a timely and secure manner, we ask that you make arrangements to pick it up in person. Additionally, report cards will only be released if all outstanding balances have been cleared, including: Lunch fees iPad fees (including blocks and cords) All devices and accessories must be turned in by Friday, May 23. Reminder KMS students!!

Attention: 7th and 8th grade softball tryouts will be May 1st and 2nd from 3-4:30. If you have any questions, please email carleighmills@alcornschools.org. Students will go to the field house after school the 1st and 2nd.

Don't forget FREE sports physicals tonight at the Crossroads Arena @ 7:00 p.m. for Kossuth students. We have forms in the front office and will notify student athletes to come by and pick one up.

8th grade is reviewing for their end of the year MAAP Science test. This week they reviewed Chromosomes, DNA, and Genes and how our genes code for our specific traits. Then they each contributed their traits to form a class Frankenstein. Check out each class period's creation! #WeAreASD
