Students from KMS showcased their business skills and leadership at the recent FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) State Competition, earning recognition for their hard work and dedication. The event brought together top students from across the state to compete in various categories, including public speaking, business ethics, marketing, and finance.
The KMS team delivered an outstanding performance, with several students placing in their respective events. Their achievements reflect their commitment to excellence and the strong preparation provided by their advisors.
The competition also provided students with opportunities to network with peers, attend workshops, and gain valuable real-world experience. With their success at the state level, some students may advance to the national competition, where they will represent KMS on an even larger stage.

We would like to recognize the following students for representing KMS at the Jr. Beta State Convention in Biloxi last week where they competed in a wide variety of both academic and talent-related events:
Blake Chism, Marlee Beckham, Layla Hardin, Avery Rencher, and Ava Wilkinson.
We would also like to congratulate Ava Wilkerson for placing in the Top 5 in her category and securing an opportunity to compete at nationals this summer.
Congratulations to our KES and KMS Honor Choir participants, and our district wide group of talented participants. Way to go!!
The students and faculty of Kossuth Middle School are showing their unwavering support for their sister school, Biggersville High School, as they compete in the highly anticipated basketball state championship game. KMS has come together to cheer on the Lions in their pursuit of victory. “We’re so proud of Biggersville and everything they’ve accomplished this season,” said a KMS representative. “Our entire school is behind them, and we know they’ll give it their all on the court.”

GIRLS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO A WALK THROUGH AT 12:10 ON FEBRUARY 8TH. THIS IS NOT MANDATORY AND THEY CAN PRACTICE IN THEIR SHOES AND REGULAR CLOTHES, OR DRESS. WE WILL DO THIS FROM 12:10-12:30. PLEASE MESSAGE AMY MARSH WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

5th and 6th grade parents - Honor Choir letters will be sent home this week. Please check backpacks/binders for audition forms. They need to be signed and returned to school by Friday, Jan. 31. There will be extra copies left in the front office if anyone needs one.
ATTENTION ALL BEAUTY REVIEW CONTESTANTS: YOU MAY ARRIVE AT THE CORINTH COLISEUM BY 12:00 PM. THE 5TH AND 6TH GRADE WILL BEGIN AT 1:00. PLEASE COME WITH HAIR AND MAKEUP ALREADY DONE. ALSO , IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE OPTIONAL CATEGORIES(MOST PHOTOGENIC,PEOPLE'S CHOICE, BEST EYES, BEST DRESS,BEST SMILE, BEST HAIR, AND BEST PERSONALITY)
