Earlier this morning, we had reports of what sounded like gunshots in the area of Alcorn Central Schools. After investigation by law enforcement, there is NO THREAT to the schools. An elderly neighbor near the school was found to be using fireworks. Again, there is NO DANGER to the schools. Law enforcement officers are still currently in the area but the situation has been found to be fireworks. Thanks for your patience as we continue to keep your kids safe.
