ACTC was honored to participate in Kossuth High School Awards Day Program for the 2023-2024 School Year. We are proud to highlight and recognize our ACTC Students at each ASD high school campus this year!











ACTC's National Technical Honor Society Officers were able to drop off donations to the Corinth-Alcorn Animal Shelter this morning. We are so proud of the leadership these students portrayed in this community service project! Thank you to everyone who donated!

Business, Marketing, & Finance Students wrapped up a fun unit this week! Students presented their cereal box creations and celebrated with a fun cereal bar provided by Mrs. Skylar. Branding, business, and a CEREAL-SLY good time in BMF!









Yesterday, Health Sciences I learned about the digestive system with a fun hands on activity! Thank you to Mrs. Tila for doing such a good job at always making learning fun!

ACTC FFA Wild Hog Trapping is underway!!!! Today marks the beginning of our trapping for our first customer. Students Brennan Bullard, Hunter Matheny, and Matthew Forsythe set up the traps we built in the AG Power shop. For the next several weeks students will be able to monitor the site remotely via an app and trigger the trap if/when hogs are in the trap.
The landowners are excited to have this service and students are gaining some amazing opportunities to see this program through success.
If you or anyone you know have a wild hog problem, come see us at the center and we will get you on the schedule……

Blue & Green Day Midsouth 2024. This week, Health Sciences highlighted the more than 4,000 people in the Mid-South waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant. Today, the Mid-South Transplant Foundation's Blue & Green Day shines a light on our community's need for organ and tissue donation.

Yesterday, ACTC said goodbye and good luck to one of of our special friends and coworkers, Ray Williams. Ray has brought nothing but joy, kindness, smiles, laughter, and friendship during his time at ACTC. We like to call him our "Ray of Sunshine". He is such a hard worker, and we know he will be successful in his next endeavor. He is easy to love and celebrate, but hard to see go. We sure will miss his bright light and singing every day!
Special thank you to our talented instructors, Mr. Jesse Potts with Industrial Maintenance, Mr. Rodney Fagan with Ag Power, and Mr. Tim Bradley with Construction for creating a special gift for Ray. Talent and teamwork!







ACTC Culinary II was honored to be the guest of Chef John Mabry at Vicari. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and networking with professionals in the industry is priceless for the students in the Alcorn School District.









Last week, Culinary Arts II students enjoyed a visit to Soco Grind for coffee and treats. Special thank you to Instructor, Mrs. Tara Lauderdale for creating opportunities for her students to experience all aspects of culinary arts! Learning is FUN at ACTC!
