Returning students at Alcorn Central will notice that the school has a new look!
Several members of the faculty and staff of ACHS have been hard at work preparing for the new school year.
High school students will notice that A-Wing is a little more "TECH" friendly. Almost 80% of the lockers have been removed and will be replaced with stylish bench seating fixed with the handiest USB Ports to charge any and all electronic devices.
Charging stations aren't the end of the road for upgrades in A-Wing. The hallway and both bathrooms have seen a fresh coat of paint to match the lobby.
Among the paint and charging stations, students and teachers will be pleased to know that both A-Wing bathrooms will be completely remodeled with new sinks, toilets, fixtures, and partitions.
Bathrooms in the self-contained Special Education classroom are also being updated to accommodate an easier setting for the students.
Teachers, Students, and Parents will all appreciate the work that is being done in the office. A new coat of paint, new flooring, and a newly designed lobby area will be the highlight of the new school year for people visiting the office.
