Ten students from the ACHS Golden Voices are among some of the first to sing at the recently reinstated Choral Colloquium since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down all choirs in March 2020. The group of students studied amongst other Mississippi singers under the direction of the Grammy awarded Music Educator, Dr. Jeffery Murdock.
The ten ACHS students that attended the event were Cody Mincy, Kayla Plunk, Mackenzie Trest, Daisy Smith, Hannah Pearson, Mekayla Rorie, Caitlyn Harville, Anna Hardin, Sydney Bryant, and Gillian Parker.
We are so proud of the work that these young performers have done this far and look forward to seeing their talents grow as the year progresses. ACHS is proud to have a very active choral department under the leadership of Mrs. Tina Downs.
