Congratulations to Aubree Justice for being honored as Rotary Club Student of the Month for November!
Aubree is an excellent student. She participates in several college course through the dual enrollment program with Northeast Mississippi Community College and excels in her course at Alcorn Central. She is a multi-sport state champion having won championships in both cross country and track. We are proud of Aubree and look forward to cheering her on as she continues to pursue her goals in education and beyond!

Mattie Mynatt was recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for being named DAR Student of the Year. This honor is one voted on by her peers for being dependable, friendly, supportive, and active in community and school. Mattie is an excellent example of all these criteria!
Mattie serves in officer positions in Beta Club and FFA. She is also a member of FBLA, Community Connection Mentors, and the Academic Team. She has been a part of three team state championships, one in volleyball and two in women's track where she has receive numerous individual medals including gold last year. Mattie plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi after graduation.

Alcorn Central FFA are enjoying the week at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Congrats to them for making to the National Level.


Alcorn Central High School had the cutest Treat or Treaters this morning. Thanks to Mr Ben and Mrs Anna for bringing the kiddos around.


Juniors and Seniors will be attending the college/career fair tomorrow. All are expected to dress appropriately. No lounge wear, pajamas, pants with holes, inappropriate t-shirts, or caps are allowed. We will leave at 8am and return around 9:30am. #LearnLeadEXCEL #weareAC
